Here you are able to access reviews of top name, premium cigars written by a trained reviewer using a standard format. Each cigar review listed was written from notes gathered using a consistent method and standard tools (see file download below). The cigar review tools I have created are based in part on the tasting methodology taught by Tobacconist University which features four aspects of evaluation:
- Observation
- Description
- Comparison
- Evaluation
Using a standard format for cigar reviews, assures that each cigar is evaluated equally, on the same performance measures. Just as consistency in a premium cigar is a sign of quality, consistency in the reviewing of cigars is a necessary quality.
