La Aurora Preferidos #2 Cameroon - digital watercolor (Photo/art: M. Klausmeier, Canon Rebel T3i, f/4, 1/50, ISO-2500, 27mm)
In my cigar room I have an old, sepia tone photograph of my grandfather and great-grandfather. In the photo both are holding a cold bottle of beer and a half-smoked, perfecto shaped cigars. My great-grandfather was a cigar roller; my grandfather, a lithographer and great cigar smoker. The enjoyment they shared, in the instant of this photo, from some unknown occasion, is readily apparent on their faces.
When I smoke a La Aurora Preferidos perfecto #2 in the Cameroon wrapper, I am not only taken with the outstanding quality of the cigar but also with the amazing flavors produced, and the perfect balance the cigar exhibits.
The La Aurora Preferidos perfecto #2 is as close to the cigar my grandparents are sharing in my photo as I’ve found, in terms of shape and size. When I smoke a Preferidos #2 Cameroon, I like to close my eyes, take a slow pull, savor the smoke and imagine my grandparents sitting next to me, sharing a beer and a good cigar.
Thank you Sr. Leon…
